My sweet Liam is four months old. Any parent knows it can be challenging to determine which bottle your baby will take to and I really was dreading the whole process. But, when I was given the chance to try out the Similac SimplySmart bottle with Liam I jumped at it. The naturally shaped nipple is designed to make feeding between the breast and bottle easy, which is important to me.
This was Liam’s first time taking milk from a bottle. Let me add that he won’t even take a pacifier. And that is NOT for lack of trying let me tell you! I was a little nervous about how he would take to a bottle. What a relief it was when he had no trouble whatsoever taking the Similac SimplySmart bottle. It took no time at all for him to latch on and polish it off in less than a minute. What a piggy! I couldn’t be happier. And it is so sweet seeing the girls light up when they get to feed baby brother. I will definitely use this bottle knowing Liam will take it without any problem. I also received the Similac On-the-Go Powder Cap. This is a great addition because it holds enough formula to make an 8-ounce bottle. How convenient is that to have the mix right in the cap of the bottle. Genius!
The Similac SimplySmart bottle is equipped with Intellivent venting system, which helps minimize baby’s air intake. What I found to be really cool is the SmartClose feature. It reveals a blue shield when the top is secured to prevent leaks and assure the bottle is closed. Another wonderful feature is the plastic mixing device, which helps reduce bubbles and clumps.
